The public is invited to a discussion of women’s healthcare in the age of HB481 on Wednesday, July 17. From 6 to 8 p.m., the Peachtree City Library (201 Willowbend Rd.) will host the free, non-partisan event. 

The panel features a local doctor, a local businesswoman, a legal expert, and a public health researcher. 

Dr. Elizabeth Moore with Women’s Medical Center has been a local obstetrician and gynecologist since 1997. She has been a member of the Piedmont Fayette medical staff since the hospital opened, and has served the hospital in numerous leadership roles, including Chair of the OB/Gyn Department.

Cyndi Plunkett is the co-founder of C & S Film Concierge, a Southern Film Concierge Company, and President of Southside Mediation Services. She is an attorney of more than two decades and was an elected councilperson in Peachtree City. 

Christopher Bruce, the Political Director for the ACLU of Georgia, is a leader in the fight for civil rights and liberties across the state and country.

Dr. Roger Rochat of Emory University is a RISE Education Core Co-Investigator and also a Co-Investigator for the Changing Landscape of Georgia’s Publicly Funded Reproductive Healthcare study.
