After weeks of tireless rehearsals, set construction, and preparation, Whitewater High School’s production class is very excited to perform the CS. Lewis classic, “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.” The cast consists of the most exceptional theatre students at Whitewater who each auditioned in a competitive environment to be placed in the advanced class. The cast has sacrificed a lot of time and energy to tell the beloved story of four young children who discover a hidden land behind the closed doors of a wardrobe that allows their imaginations to run wild as they meet talking animals, defeat the white witch, and ultimately save Narnia. Susan Simich, the director, chose to tell this beautiful children’s story to honor her recently passed father. No matter the age, everyone will enjoy watching this great story come to life at the Whitewater High School auditorium on October 13-16 at 7 p.m. each night. Tickets can be purchased for $7 in advance either from a cast member or at the school, and they are $10 at the door. Please make sure to come out and support these young actors.
