A carload of suspects reportedly caught doing a bit of unauthorized, early-morning Christmas shopping in Peachtree City¬† on Wednesday picked perhaps the worst possible getaway route and were nabbed by Peachtree City Police, Tyrone Police and Fayette County Sheriff’s deputies.

Two Fayetteville Waffle House locations robbed in two days

 

Fayetteville Police are investigating a second Waffle House armed robbery in two days, and they are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating the suspects.

According to reports, a Monday 12;17 a.m. armed robbery took place at the Waffle House at 700 North Glynn Street (Hwy. 85) just south of the Hwy. 314 intersection. Tuesday morning, the Waffle House located on Hwy. 54 near the Gingercake Road intersection was hit in roughly the same manner around 1:05.

Police say the incidents may be connected.

Police search for Fayetteville Goodwill parking lot shooter

Fayetteville Police are looking for 19-year-old Dajour E. Weston of New York, who is believed to be the gunman involved in Friday afternoon’s shooting in the Goodwill store parking lot.

According to a Monday morning press release, the shooting took place around 5:09 p.m. Friday in the parking lot where eight black males were seen surrounding a parked vehicle.

A short time later, Clayton County’s E911 center reportedly received a call that a shot person was at a Riverdale convenience store. Fayetteville Police officers drove to that store and (more…)
