Both state and national media have picked up on the dancing duo. The clip of the two best friends, Thompson who is 80 and Fredriksen who is 83, has already been viewed more than 25 million times on Facebook.
“At each of our Somerby locations, we strive to highlight the many talents of our residents,” says Pete Toal, Community Liaison at Somerby. “Each resident is like an extended member of our family, and we look to live and age gracefully together.”
Mary and Eleanor are going to have fun doing it.
“These ladies are two of our most vibrant and active within the community and truly capture the essence of successful living each and everyday,” says Toal.
The video, shot by Lifestyles Director Jessica Holt, show how much fun the entire Somerby team has with the residents.
“This shows how much both Mary and Eleanor can teach us about remaining youthful and vigorous throughout our lives.”
