Attention race fans, are you ready for the return of the fastest cars to ever make a lap at Senoia Raceway? You’re in luck because this Saturday night Senoia welcomes back the USCS Winged Outlaw Sprint Cars for the 11th annual Summer Nationals.

These 700 horsepower winged machines have become one of the top series to make an appearance at the track over the years. This show has been Senoia Raceway’s way of closing the summer out with a bang before kids make their return to school.

Making their return to the track this weekend looking to capture the checkered flag is well-known school teacher and driver Morgan Turpen, who has become quite dominant and a fan favorite at Senoia. She has quite the competition trying to keep her off the podium with Terry Gray, Dale Howard, Kyle Amerson, Connor Leoffler, and many more planning on making the show.

Also on the schedule is the Limited Late Model Grey Gumbo Classic, which pays $2000 to the winner of that race. All drivers planning to take part in the feature will have to pay a $100 entry fee. For those Crate Late Model drivers wanting to move up and race in the classic, the highest finishing Crate will receive a bonus. Even with an already packed night, Senoia Raceway also has the Chargers, Late Model Sportsman, and Hobby Stocks racing.

The action starts around 6 p.m. with hot laps and the first green flag planning to be dropped around 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 with all kids 12 and under being admitted in free. For pit passes and trackside parking, tickets are $35; kids 5-12 $20; four and under are free. Stay tuned into Senoia Raceway’s Facebook page for a chance to win free tickets to this weekend’s race.

For those unable to make this Saturday’s race, Senoia Raceway will have the make-up race for the Southern Outlaw Hobby series honoring Zach Jones in two weeks paying $3000 to win. This will also be the championship round for the Five Star Chrysler Dodge Jeep of Warner Robins Gumbo series for the Crate and Late Model Sportsman.
