PEACHTREE CITY — In Fayette County, citizens pride themselves on maintaining a safe and peaceful environment for families and residents alike, and Peachtree City plans to dig deeper for community involvement to hold a Citizen Police Academy. 

The classes will be held on Monday nights from September 12 to November 14 while also excluding Halloween. 

From 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., citizens will cover a variety of topics ranging from crime scene and CID to active threat responses to intro to firearms.
