PTC cops investigating golf cart theft, entering auto

The Peachtree City Police Department is trying to find a missing golf cart from Peachtree Station Circle. On May 2, a resident reported the golf cart was seen last May 1 in the evening, and it was no longer where she left it. The golf cart information was sent in to be put in GCIC as stolen. A statement was collected and pamphlet was given with a case number.

On May 5, officers responded to Picnic Park in reference to an entering auto call. Upon arrival, according to a police report, officers spoke with the victim, who stated that an unknown person or persons broke out the front right window on her vehicle. Her multi-colored purse was stolen from under the front passenger seat. Her purse contained credit cards, debit card, and several gift cards. There were several attempts to take out funds at multiple locations throughout the city. The purse was later recovered in the grassy area on Willowbend Road.
