Police Search for Suspects who Robbed Kedron Verizon Store

By Leah Banks — Peachtree City police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at the Verizon store at the Kedron Village retail area on Sunday, Feb 27. 

According to the police report, at approximately 7:40 p.m., officers were dispatched to an armed robbery in progress at the store. Upon arrival, an officer spoke with the single employee on scene who stated two males entered his store.

According to the single employee, one of the males was armed with a handgun and demanded access to the safe, the report stated.  

The males then continued to keep the employee in an office while they proceeded to steal numerous items and money from the safe, according to the report. 

The offenders left the scene and officers were unable to locate them, despite an extensive canvas of the surrounding area.

The victim provided a statement and the investigation is ongoing.
