Fayetteville Police are looking for 19-year-old Dajour E. Weston of New York, who is believed to be the gunman involved in Friday afternoon’s shooting in the Goodwill store parking lot.
According to a Monday morning press release, the shooting took place around 5:09 p.m. Friday in the parking lot where eight black males were seen surrounding a parked vehicle.
A short time later, Clayton County’s E911 center reportedly received a call that a shot person was at a Riverdale convenience store. Fayetteville Police officers drove to that store and confirmed that the victim was the same person shot at the Fayetteville Goodwill store parking lot.
The victim was said to have been transported to an Atlanta hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say Weston is now wanted on several Aggravated Assault charges and is likely on his way back to New York.
Anyone with information is asked to call Fayetteville Police at 770-461-4441.
