PEACHTREE CITY – Peachtree City police are investigating a shooting that occurred early Wednesday morning that has left one injured.
According to the Peachtree City Police Department Facebook page, the incident occurred at Highway 54 at Lexington Circle and there is no threat to the public
Peachtree City spokesman Donte Phillips said that the scene is still active and there is still an active investigation into what has happened thus far.
“What we know now is that we have one person injured and one in custody, but there is no threat to the public. The scene is still an active investigation,” Phillips said.
