It seems you can’t go more than a week without another survey or poll touting the city’s virtues.

This week, online site ranked Peachtree City the third safest city in the state.

According to the site, HomeSnacks combines recent data from the Census, FBI, OpenStreetMaps, and dozens of other sources into bite-sized studies to help you understand what it’s like to live in different communities across the country.

The website has been professionally ranking cities, neighborhoods, counties, and states across America for over three years.

The group looked at cities with over 5,000 people and analyzed the FBI’s Uniform Crime Report which summarizes the number of property crimes and violent crimes in each city per year. HomeSnacks used two criteria: Violent crimes per capita (murders, assaults, rapes, armed robberies) and property crimes per capita (thefts, burglaries, motor vehicle thefts).

Milton and John’s Creek topped the list.
