The Fayette County Public Art Committee recently put out a call to artists to submit a mural design for one of the walls the Crosstown Water Treatment Plant on TDK Boulevard.
The image above shows what the wall may look like after artist Pash Lima’s design is painted on.
Lima was the winner from among 23 applicants, nine of which met all qualifications as laid out by the county committee.
If approved by the county commission on Thursday, Lima is expected to begin work on the mural November 1, and will be paid $3,000. The county will also cover the costs of materials and supplies.
The image shown was done digitally to show what the mural might look like.
