McIntosh Trail staff, adviser honored at journalism awards

The McIntosh Trail, the student news site of McIntosh High, was honored at the 2022 Georgia Scholastic Press Association (GSPA) Awards, including a top honor for its adviser.

Three staff members earned Superior marks: Jordyn Mobley for Feature Story, Rebekah Bushmire for Feature Photo, and Nakia Harmon for Sports Photo. The Trail as a whole also earned an overall Superior rating, improving from Excellent last year.

On top of staff honors, Shanon Woolf was recognized as Georgia Scholastic Press Association’s Adviser of the Year.
