Lewis Bradley “Brad” Lytton, 67, passed away on Friday, August 17th, 2018, at home in Peachtree City, GA. He fought a courageous battle against cancer for 10 years and was ready to go home to his Lord.
Brad was born August 22, 1950, in Cincinnati, Ohio, and was the son of the late Lewis G. “Jerry” and Mary Jeanette (Henderson) Lytton. He is survived by his wife, Hope Hamilton Lytton, and they spent 35 years of loving life together. They were proud parents of one son, Jordan Houston Lytton, St. Croix, US Virgin Islands, and grandson, Jace Benjamin Lytton. Also surviving are his brother, Jeff (Bernie) Lytton of Bedford, Indiana, and brother-in-law, Bobby H. Hamilton, Jr. of Louisiana, and several nephews and nieces. He was also preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Raymond M. Hamilton.
Brad was a 1968 graduate of Bedford High School in Bedford, Indiana, and a 1972 graduate of the Indiana University School of Business.
He was a decorated Naval Aviator and enjoyed flying as a pilot for 25 years with Delta Airlines. He loved flying out of Pensacola, Florida. He most recently retired as a Net Jets pilot. In 2017, Brad was awarded the FAA’s Wright Brothers’ Master Pilot Award and had a total of 50 years of flying.
His family enjoyed the travel benefits of flying and numerous vacations on the beach, and as an avid golfer he would always find a nearby golf course. Brad had a zest for life and cared for people.
A Memorial service was held on August 20, 2018 at 6:00 PM at Peachtree City Christian Church, 500 Kedron Drive, Peachtree City, GA. The family will receive friends at 4:30 PM, prior to the service. Interment will held at Barrancas National Cemetery at the Pensacola Naval Air Station in Pensacola, Florida.
Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to the Air Naval Museum in Pensacola or the Southern Grace Hospice in McDonough, GA.
