From the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office:

“Effective [Tuesday afternoon], a 200-ft section of Heritage Park Way between SR 85 (S. Glynn Street) and the rear entrance to the Fayette County Stonewall complex is closed to thru traffic. The closure is due to a collapsed 60-inch storm pipe beneath the road.

“The Road Department will try to make temporary repairs on Wednesday (4/13), with hopes of re-opening the road until the pipe can be replaced. We’ll send another update in the next few days.

“In the meantime, please use caution when driving in this area.”
