Friends banding together to find sweet Dee Dee a forever home

Abandoned by her original owners, Dee Dee has bonded with a special group of volunteers who want nothing more than to find her a forever home.

You would never know that Dee Dee, a 7-year-old white and black spotted bulldog mix, was abandoned at an Atlanta-area boarding facility. Her love for others and playful, happy disposition doesn’t sound like an abandoned dog with trust issues.

While Dee Dee’s original owners gave up on her, a group of concerned dog lovers in Peachtree City believes in her. They have joined together to find Dee Dee a home of her own. While the staff at the kennel where she “lives” loves her and cares for her immensely, Dee Dee lives in a caged environment and relies on her volunteer friends to come walk her a few times a week. Those precious minutes where she gets to go to run and play make her very grateful to these best friends.

The great loves of Dee Dee’s life, besides her friends at the kennel? Playing with tennis balls, stuffed animals, and getting belly rubs. Dee Dee would do best in a home where she can be an only sibling. She wants to be your “one-and-only” love, and a couch potato. She would make the perfect road trip companion, as she loves to ride in the car, especially to Chick-fi-la to get her favorite chicken nuggets!

Dee Dee is fully vetted (updated on all vaccines), spayed, and is heartworm negative (and on heartworm prevention, thanks to an anonymous friend who covers the cost).
She has been evaluated by Barry Sechler, of A Better Dog home dog training. Both Barry and his working dog partners have given Dee Dee two paws up.
