As part of a continued push to position themselves to serve the community for generations to come, the Fayette County News is implementing a membership program for their website, fayette-news.net.
Subscriptions are only $40 for one year ($36 for seniors) and include both hard copies mailed to your home on Wednesdays and full access to the website.
“Subscriptions ensure we can continue to bring this community the best in local journalism,” said Fayette County News owner and publisher Geneva Weaver. “For more than 130 years, our publication has been this county’s source for fair, honest reporting, and this gives us the opportunity to continue to serve this community while embracing new mediums.”
The only in-print newspaper in the county, the Fayette County News is continuing to expand their presence online. In between receiving hard copies in your mailbox every Wednesday, subscribers will gain full access to content on the newspaper’s website throughout the week.
In addition to breaking news, crime, government meetings, and school happenings, the Fayette County News is both the county’s official legal organ and your only source for in-depth high school sports coverage.
If you are already a subscriber, call 770-604-1004 to speak with the circulation department to set up your web access account. Have your email address, subscription address, and preferred username ready to expedite the process.
