At their June 28 meeting, the Board of Commissioners recognized the participants in the 2018 Fayette County State Court internship program.

Three high school students assisted daily with administrative duties for State Court and DUI Court. One college undergraduate student coordinated community outreach projects and helped with daily operations of State Court. Funded by ACCG grants, two law students assisted with the court’s caseload by performing legal research and writing for outstanding motions.

Participants were Samuel Ellis, Andrew Grasser, Patrick Reames, Tyler Eck, Lizeth Gomez, and Aliana Stanley.
