Cartersville woman arrested in Peachtree City on shoplifting and drug charges, police say

PEACHTREE CITY — A Cartersville woman was arrested for shoplifting as well as illegal possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug-related objects in Peachtree City on March 4.

Teri L. Conway, 58, was arrested at a Home Depot off West Highway 54 in Peachtree City.

According to the police report, an officer responded to the location in reference to shoplifting.

The officer located the offender and placed her under arrest for felony shoplifting upon arrival.

A search of Conway’s vehicle resulted in the discovery of methamphetamine and a glass pipe, police say. She was charged with illegal possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug-related objects.

Conway was transported to the Fayette County Jail and booked following the incident.
