William Raymond McIntosh, 72, of Fayetteville, passed away on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 in Stockbridge, GA. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri on July 23, 1946 to the late Suzanne Louise and Lawrence Willard McIntosh. He proudly served his country in both the United States Army and the United States Air Force and was awarded an Air Force Commendation Medal for Vietnam Service. Bill was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus. He was retired from the Clorox Company after 30 years. He also worked for the Smyrna Police Department and Lockheed-Martin Corporation.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Elaine Theisen. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Donna Butler McIntosh; his daughter, Kimberly Henkel (Eric); his son, Shaun McIntosh (Melissa); his grandchildren, Ryann and Heidi Henkel, Haygan and Harlan McIntosh; his brother, Michael McIntosh (Mary); his sisters, Patricia Mantle and Sally Tinnea (Jerry); and several nieces and nephews.
His funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, September 17, 2018 at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, Fayetteville, with Father Vu officiating. Burial with military honors will follow the service at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City, GA. The family will receive friends from 9:30 – 10:30 AM on Monday, September 17, 2018 at Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, GA.
