Patricia Morgan Lorton, 75, of Hampton, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at her residence after a short battle with pancreatic cancer. Born in Atlanta, GA on January 22, 1943 to the late Mary and Emmett Maddox. Patricia grew up in Ben Hill, GA, and was married to the late Marshall Eugene “Gene” Morgan. She was a long-time member of Berea Christian Church in Hampton, GA where she loved to serve. She was loved by her family and the many friends that she made over the years.
Patricia enjoyed travels with her son and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She made friends wherever she went and continued to stay close to many she worked with over the years. She was former ticket agent for Eastern Airlines, Travel Consultant for SATO Travel, Carlson Wagonlit Travel and World Travel Partners.
Patricia is survived by her son, Thomas Morgan of Hampton; her daughter Susan (Gordon) McDaniel of Fayetteville; her grandchildren, Katherine Brakhage of Griffin, Spencer McDaniel of Fayetteville and Timothy McDaniel of Lake Jackson, TX; and great-grandchildren, Kylee, Auriana, Lily, Abby and Asher; her siblings, Bob (Janet) Maddox of Jackson, Mary Jones of Stockbridge, Gale (Jack) McIntyre of Dacula and Chuck (Anna) Maddox of Fayetteville; and many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. She will be missed by all.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, September 23, 2018 in the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville, GA, with Rev. Dennis Fulton officiating. Burial will follow the service at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, College Park, GA. The family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00 PM on Saturday evening, September 22, 2018 at the funeral home.
