If you’re a convicted felon, it doesn’t pay to display your gun at an intersection.
According the Sheriff Barry Babb, the incident occurred April 15 when a bus driver noticed a man standing at the intersection of Harp Road and Noble Forest Drive with a .22 shotgun.
The bus driver called 911, and Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the location. Sheriff’s officials pointed out that there is nothing wrong with having a gun, unless you’re a convicted felon.
After further investigation, the department arrested Russell Vondiver, 48, of Fayetteville and charged him with possession of a gun by a convicted felon.
