A May 10 arrest at Inman Elementary School resulted in a theft charge for a former employer of Taylor Exterminating.
Cynthia Taylor, 32, is charged with theft by taking after she allegedly wrote more than $32,000 in fraudulent checks. School system spokesperson Melinda Berry-Dreisbach confirmed Taylor is an employee of the school system.
Sheriff Barry Babb said Taylor stopped working for the company in 2017, and served in the company’s bookkeeping and accounting area. An internal investigation by the company led to Taylor’s arrest, Babb added.
According to the company’s website, Taylor Exterminating Co., Inc. is a family owned and operated pest control company serving north and central Georgia for over 45 years and is based in Fayetteville.
