Fayetteville man arrested for Dollar General robbery

A suspect is in custody in last Tuesday’s robbery at a Fayetteville Dollar General.

Scott Allen Quinnell, 39 years old of Fayetteville, was arrested in connection with the robbery.

According to Captain Chad Myers with the Fayetteville Police Department, Quinnell provided a note to the cashier demanding money. There is no indication he displayed a weapon. He left on foot with some cash, estimated to be around $200.

An officer in the area responded to the call and located the suspect. After receiving search warrants, officers found evidence at Quinnell’s home from the robbery.
