Cops issue BOLO in identity fraud case

The Fayetteville Police Department is asking for the public’s help in a recent case.

The department on its Facebook page said on June 4,  the pictured female is suspected of using identifying information of a recently deceased female to open and obtain an AT&T cellular account and iPhone.

The Fayetteville Police Department is requesting assistance in obtaining the identification of the pictured person in the identity theft case.

The department confirmed the deceased female whose identity was stolen is Mimi Perry. 

Shanard Rease, 39, of Fayetteville, has been charged with aggravated assault and murder in connection to May 24 murder of Perry.
