Blue lights lead to drug arrest

Don’t try and put blue lights on your vehicle in Fayette County.

According to a Sheriff’s Department report, the department stopped Ashanti Smalls of Jonesboro on Ga. Highway 314 April 5 for stationary blue lights on his vehicle.

The subsequent investigation led to Smalls being charged with possession of marijuana, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
