92-Veterans Pkwy improvements moving forward

A fix is still in the future, but progress is continuing on safety improvements at the intersection of 92 and Veterans Parkway. In reports at the end of Thursday night’s County Board of Commissioners meeting, Chairman Randy Ognio updated work being made towards putting a light in at the intersection.

The permit has been approved, but plans still have to be approved and put out to bid before land can be acquired (if needed) and construction can begin.

“It looks like we’re one step closer. We’ve crossed the 50 yard line, but we’ve still got a ways to do,” said Ognio. “Don’t look for dirt to start moving right away, but it is moving forward.”
